Stained Glass Windows

The project was based on stained glass windows found in Milan and Southwark, London cathedrals. On these visits I was inspired by the windows and in particular the contrast between the colours of the glass and the dark silhouette of the lead. Using photographs of the windows I used Photoshop to produce widths of colour, which dictated the colour order for the warp. My plan was to create a silk woven scarf from my designs.
