This collection was put together during the planning phase  of the Deconstructed Butterflies project. While looking at the butterfly images, that I had collected, I decided to focus on the patterns found in their wings. During the project I started to explore the possibilities of extra-weft/extra-warp weaving and experiment using fancy yarns such as metals and lurex.
